Apparently, the Facebook feature of adding anthems by decade or five-year period was very well received. For some reason, not all the links are visible anymore.

Note: anthems aren't necessarily the best songs from each band, but rather those that left a mark on their generation, becoming defining songs of their time.

So, I'm taking this opportunity to update the lists and add the ones I remember, along with a few omissions.
