Ladies and gentlemen, Xennials and Gen Z, Procol Harum and The Warning fans, nostalgic folks who've followed this corner of the internet since the beginning, and those who stumbled upon this site unexpectedly, looking for 15-second videos... WELCOME EVERYONE!!!

It's been a long time since my last new review, back in February 2018. A million things have happened since then, the world has changed drastically in just eight years: Streaming killed radio and TV, there was a pandemic, AI, wars, gen*cide, political situations that seem straight out of an Orson Welles novel, series and films that have transformed popular culture, the generational divide, and rock music that has finally found its place, not exactly in the underground scene, but definitely in a more niche one.

After all this time, the moment has arrived to revive The Cavern. Yes, finally!

I've been thinking over the idea of rewriting some intros and reviews for months now, especially the first ones I wrote. There's much more information available now, which helps us provide more detail and be more precise. Plus, there are a lot of stylistic issues I'd like to correct. For example, the Led Zeppelin intro—I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote it! Some beloved musicians have passed away, some bands have reunited... So, we're going to start by editing some entries and rewriting others.

By now, only the rules, lists, and band intros are available in English. I'll work on adding the English reviews as I make corrections or decide they're ready to be translated, so please be patient!

Another thing is that, adapting to the changing times, I'll be adding links to my Spotify playlists, some based on lists of bands and songs, and others more random and completely new playlists... I don't know, songs with colored titles, or live versions that surpass the studio versions, and so on. I'll be uploading the links little by little.

Perhaps there will be a post on the Home page as the cover, or maybe I'll just add the links to the latest news or updated posts. In any case, I'll also be adding updates on Facebook, so stay tuned.

The idea isn't just to reissue old material, but to add some editorials or posts about relevant events... that is, Ozzy's farewell, Oasis reunion, Anthology 4, the deaths that have shaken us.

Finally, and some of you have already noticed, on February 3rd I released my album Canned Life, which is now available on Spotify. I'm waiting for a few details to be available on YouTube so I can make the teasers, but I'll also be taking advantage of this time to post details about the album and each song here as soon as possible.

And new material???

YES!!! Really? Yes, seriously. I hope to release some new reviews, and I don't want to make any promises because I might let you down, but the idea is to do at least one new review a month, and some kind of re-release, list, or editorial per week. I won't be going in chronological order anymore, but rather focusing on the most important albums we're missing. And maybe we'll have collaborations with other genres again.

Anyway, I'm really excited to write this and finally reactivate La Caverna.

Here's the link to The Cavern on Facebook and my Spotify profile, where you can already listen to some playlists and Canned Life.

Thank you to everyone who waited patiently, and welcome to those who are just joining this community.
