The Cavern
Rock & Words

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
Well, at the insistence of Harlock (my cousin), I finally decided to open a blog, so welcome to The Cavern! I'm still not sure what this will all be about, but the idea is to upload some of my stories, poems, political and general thoughts, and do some rock reviews, as well as news and other miscellaneous topics. With the closure of elcerebro.com, this blog isn't intended to be a replacement, but I hope it's a space where I can continue expressing myself and sharing my own ideas and material with all my friends.
And that's it. These are my first steps, so I ask for your patience. I'll try to give it a good format as soon as I can and see where it takes us.

This was the first post I published on Blogspot 10 years ago. I was sipping on a few beers, having no idea what to post, single, childless, and sharing an apartment with one of my cousins. elcerebro.com had shut down due to internal issues, but a great dynamic had developed on that forum, I'd made great friends (I met my wife there), and after its closure, a kind of void of expression had been left for me. So I started playing around with Blogspot and The Cavern emerged. Without much musical interest at first, but over time, it became the main topic with reviews, intros, and news.
10 years later, here we are, with 95 intros, 371 album reviews, 11 concert reviews, 27 playlists, 16 Ages of Rock, and 37 Timelines including summaries by decade. We moved to Webs and then to Wix. I got married, had two children, and have the support of El Hombre Mojón, Marlaior, and Homer. I have more gray hair, but I have the same passion for this project as 10 years ago, and that's thanks to you, who have helped me build a great little community in this virtual space. And rereading that first post, that feeling of uncertainty returns, not fully understanding Wix's potential, which I hope to continue improving. As I prepare each post, I still get the same nervousness I had 10 years ago, and when I publish it, I always have that feeling that it could have been better. 10 years gone by in a flash.
What's next? Another 10 years, of course! For now, the celebrations are coming, reminiscing about some of the first posts, as well as the spectacular celebration review I'm still preparing and a couple of intros from new bands. The idea is to expand La Caverna, add dynamics, and reach a lot more people, for which I'll need your help.
Thanks again to you, this celebration is yours, because without your support, this project would have been a long-forgotten project.
Long live Rock!
Welcome to the Jungle, we got fun and games!!!!
